In the last 2 newsletters I teased you with some exciting news about coming and sailing with me, and today is the day that I reveal when, where and how. But first, let’s address the elephant in the room. May 5th is – as you well know -- National Travel Advisor’s Day. Tragically this will be another year without being able to celebrate momentously with a big parade and a work holiday. But suffice it to enjoy your Travel Advisor Day tree and all the presents waiting to be opened after the traditional feast.

I have chosen this cruise for many reasons, but here are just two: 1) the dates work well as they allow a few more months for international travel to regain some sense of normalcy; and 2) who wouldn’t want to escape southeast Louisiana in the doggiest days of summer for the cooler climes of Germany and The Netherlands!
The 7-night itinerary includes overnight visits to Bamberg, Wurzburg, Wertheim, Rudesheim, and Cologne before concluding with a night and full day in Amsterdam. Each day brings choices of immersive tours in every destination, gentle-to-active bike tours and hikes, and special interest tours with knowledgeable guides and in small groups.
For your best comfort and enjoyment of the cruise experience, I specifically recommend staterooms with double balconies (one is a French Balcony and the other is an Outside Balcony). Pricing currently ranges from $5394 to $5994 per person, based on double occupancy, not including airfare.
